For some reason Thornaby gets a bit of stick on social media. Ive seen comments about it being a ghost town, scruffy, empty shops etc... but if you visit our town centre you will find lots of new businesses, a mix of national and independent names and a constantly busy shopping centre.
I think there are currently around 60 shops and businesses in the center. Including a brand new soft play centre The Playground and the Gaming Hideaway which opened earlier this year!
